A HISTORY OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE TWIN CITIES.
We started Twin Cities Siding Professionals in 1995, before we were married! Believe it or not, our original goal was to gain experience managing a business so that we could open a franchise restaurant! We did not know if we would be successful so we wanted to start out in a business that did not require a lot of capital to get started. I greew up painting and doing carpentry work as a volunteer for my church, and worked in the maintenance department when I was getting my degree from North Central Bible College. A painting company seemed like a natural fit.
Kristen’s father is an entrepreneur, and she had always wanted to manage her own business. She majored in economics and psychology at St. Olaf College; and then studied for and received her MBA from the Carlson School of Business while getting Twin Cities Siding Professionals up and running.
We have enjoyed our work, our employees and our customers so much that the restaurant idea has faded into a distant memory. We are in the home improvement industry to stay. We don’t need to be the biggest company, but we want to be the best. And that means a company that devotes itself to our customer’s ultimate satisfaction.
Part of that is a continuing commitment to educating ourselves, our employees and our customers. We want to be sure we are using the latest and greatest products, materials and methods on your home. We are constantly researching and going to continuing education classes with different organizations so that we can offer the right project for our value-minded customers.
Our first priority is making certain that the products you choose for your home are handled and installed to meet the manufacturer’s requirements and conform to industry standards. Just meeting code is not good enough – we want everything to be perfect for you!
We are also committed to communicating with you clearly and often. We have a wonderful relationship with each of our customers that is built on being available and honest from start to finish. This includes complete project consultations, pre-construction meetings, professional field supervisors, and skilled employee job foremen and employee installers.
Finally, we know that our industry has a reputation for disorganization and unprofessionalism. We have assembled a team of experienced and professional administrative staff that rivals Fortune 500 companies. Our crews stay on schedule, we show up on time for appointments, we return phone calls, we offer thorough proposals, we meticulously clean up jobsites, and we deliver world-class customer satisfaction.
