The responsibilities of being one of the leading siding contractors in the Twin Cities area doesn’t start and end with providing remodeling services to our clients. It’s also nice to give something back to the community.
At Twin Cities Siding and Roofing, we make contributions by helping the community out. Over the years, we have donated product and volunteered time for the following organizations.
-
Habitat for Humanity – Habitat for Humanity is one of the most well-known global non-governmental organizations that help families in need of decent, affordable housing. Founded in 1976, Habitat for Humanity has since helped household who otherwise have had no access to formal-sector housing options such as developer-built housing and traditional mortgage products. Since 2007, Twin Cities Siding and Roofing has donated materials and have since helped build 13 households.
-
School District 197 – District 197 is a close-knit community of schools located a few minutes south of the Twin Cities, comprised of eight schools that provide education from Early Learning/Preschool level to the 12th grade. We helped build their ticket office by donating labor, materials, and others that only siding contractors could provide.
-
Highland Village Montessori School – Also known as Mano’s Montessori, the Highland Village Montessori school was founded by Mrs. Mano Rathnayake as a full-service childcare center that’s focused on nurturing, teaching, and providing high-quality care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in the St. Paul area. We’ve helped give the Montessori a facelift by donating labor and materials, a well-received effort by both the parents and children.
-
Dodge Nature Center – The Thomas Irvine Dodge Nature Center, or simply Dodge Nature Center, is a 460-plus acre property located in West St. Paul, and is one of the first nature centers in Minnesota. We donate products and services for the upkeep of several buildings within the property.
These are only some of the worthy causes we participate in as a way of giving back to the community. If you’ve had a friend helped by the local Habitat for Humanity or had your child enrolled in Mano’s Montessori, we’re happy to know that we’ve had a hand in contributing to the community in some way.
